I left on the 27th and was back on the morning of the 30th so I slept well when I got home

The ceremony was held at Houmas House which is a plantation around 1 hour from New Orleans. It’s a stunning venue with a lot of character.

After the ceremony and  meal we headed back to New Orleans where I photographed the couple in the Hotel Monteleone. We then headed out onto the streets of the French Quarter for more photos on the tram lines and outside beautiful antique shops.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful autumn wedding of Jamie and Lynn at Meldrum House Hotel in Aberdeenshire

I photographed Lynn at her Dad’s house and then I headed to Old Meldrum.

I had a wander round the hotel grounds and spotted an area with dried up, dead foliage that I thought would make quite a rustic kind of shot with Jamie and his bestman/ushers.

The photograph with the swan on the loch…. the couple are out of focus intentionally so I could focus on the swan that managed to position itself in the background rather well.

The ceremony was held at Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire. It’s been a few years since I have photographed a wedding there so it was good to be back.

We then headed to the Marcliffe in Aberdeen for the wedding reception.

I seem to be at Norwood  quite a bit this year but that’s good as it has to be one of my favourite venues in Aberdeen. The wallpaper and staircase really lends itself to some really great  photography opportunities.

The ceremony was at Inverbervie Church and the reception was at Maryculter House Hotel near Aberdeen.

It was a very windy day but this was to my advantage (the photo of the flowergirls talking on the steps). That image has to be one of my favourites this year.
